On Sept. 14th, the mid-phalanx of my right ring finger was
shattered when Buffalo bolted while being lunged.

The 15th and 16th the finger started to rotate back!
With no bone structure to hold it,
the "reduction" in the ER didn't hold.

Very painful!
So, surgery was Friday the 17th.
The purple cast came off Monday the 27th.

I had a hand split that I color coordinated!

Then on 10/20 the pins came out - with pliers! Ouch!!

Now I have this tiny finger splint
and NO LIFTING for a MONTH!

Just in time for Halloween!!

and as of 12/1/04!

Finally getting some range of motion...
